The Lush Savanna is an overworld biome added by Biomes O' Plenty. It is a hot savanna variant with pale yellow-green grass, and it is uncommon in Fear Nightfall, covering about 0.13% of land. Its horror content comes from the pack's mob and structure additions rather than from the biome's own features: its monster spawn list is long and includes many horror mobs added by other mods.
Description
The biome uses a pale grass colour (#efe182) and a yellow-green foliage colour (#d3d156). Its water is a clear blue (#45adf2), its fog is pale blue (#c0d8ff) and its sky is a light blue (#77a8ff). It has a temperature of 0.9 and a downfall of 0.5, and it rains rather than snows.
Its vegetation mixes vanilla and modded plants. The biome places poppies, rose bushes, tall grass, grass and sprout patches, and sugar cane. It also places wild carrots, onions and tomatoes from Farmer's Delight, and wild flax from Supplementaries. For vanilla biome tags, it counts as a savanna and as a plains biome.
Generation
Lush Savanna is a surface biome with a 0.13% share of land, so it is uncommon in a typical world. It is not among the biomes that the pack weights six times for horror content, so it receives no horror boost in the biome table. Its share of the cave layer at y=-30 is 0.02%, so it is almost never found underground.
Villages in the biome use the savanna villager type.
Features
The biome uses the standard overworld ore set, which covers coal, copper, iron, gold, redstone, lapis, diamond and the stone-variant ores. Several mods add their own ores here. Born in Chaos adds infected diamond ore and black argillite, Butchery adds sulfur ore and a salt disc generation, and Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks adds mithril ore. Sugar cane and tall grass patches are the main ground cover, and Supplementaries places cave urns in the biome.
The structure set for this biome is long. It includes an illager hideout, an Iron's Spells catacombs and evoker fort, a Born in Chaos clown caravan and firewell, and a range of savanna and desert towers and ruins from other mods. The full list and placements are in the generated tables below.
Mobs and structures
The biome's monster spawns are weighted toward the classic overworld hostiles. Spiders, skeletons, creepers and slimes each weigh 100, zombies weigh 95 and husks weigh 80. The monster list also includes horror mobs added by other mods in the pack, such as necromancers, decaying zombies, dread hounds, nightmares and several pumpkin-themed mobs. Each of these has a low weight, but together they make up a large part of the pool.
Passive spawns include sheep (weight 12), pigs and chickens (10 each), cows, wolves, armadillos, horses, rabbits, ferrets and donkeys. Ambient spawns are coal golems and bats. Glow squid spawn in underground water, and several fish species spawn in the biome's water. The full spawn and structure tables are shown below.

Tips
Bring light and food before crossing the biome at night. The hostile spawn pool is dominated by husks, skeletons, spiders and creepers, and horror mobs can appear among them, so a player on foot should keep a route back to shelter in mind. The biome is tagged as a hot biome for Tough As Nails.
Because the biome is rare, a player who wants to find it should use a biome locator or a Nature's Compass rather than searching the surface by hand. Its ore set is the same as the rest of the overworld, so the biome is a reasonable place to mine for diamonds and mithril.
