End Corruption is one of the End highlands biomes added by Biomes O' Plenty. It is a stretch of End terrain covered in null blocks, null trees and Liquid Null pools, and it is one of the places in The End where the Anomaly blocks and Monolith features that Biomes O' Plenty adds can be found. It is also a setting for several of the End structures added by the pack's other mods.
The biome sits alongside End Wilds and End Reef in the End highlands region. Its climate values are temperature 0.5 and downfall 0.5, and it has no precipitation.
Description
The ground surface is Unmapped End Stone, a variant of End Stone from the Null and End Blocks family. Null trees, made of Null Block trunks and Null Leaves, grow on this surface, and Null Plant patches grow around them. The Null and End Blocks page describes how each block behaves.
The sky is black and the fog is a dull mauve (#A080A0). The grass tint is #7CBD6B and the foliage tint is #48B518. Water is blue (#3F76E4) with a dark underwater fog. The biome plays the cave ambience sound every 6000 ticks, and it emits rare binary particles.
Generation
End Corruption is placed in the End highlands by the Biomes O' Plenty end registration, with a weight of 3. End Wilds has a weight of 9 and End Reef a weight of 6, so End Corruption is the rarest of the three mod highlands biomes. Vanilla End biome placement is not otherwise changed.
The biome is tagged as a cold biome for the Tough As Nails mod, so its temperature effects apply here. Its share of The End is shown in the infobox.
Features
End Corruption has a small set of biome-specific features, and most of them are shared with the other mod End biomes.
- Null trees: each chunk has a 1-in-5 chance of one tree attempt. The tree feature always places a Null tree, so the biome's trees are the Null tree described on the Null and End Blocks page.
- Null plant patches: Null Plant patches cover the surface around the trees.
- Liquid Null lake: a Liquid Null lake is generated in the biome. The lake uses Null End Stone as its barrier block.
- Liquid Null spring: a Liquid Null spring can appear on the End Stone, Null End Stone and Unmapped End Stone surfaces.
- Anomaly: an Anomaly feature places Null End Stone and Null Block around the Anomaly block. The Anomaly block is one of four types, and only the stable type renders as a full model. The other three are invisible to the eye and let skylight through.
- Monolith: a Monolith feature is placed in about one chunk in four. It is placed on the motion-blocking heightmap, so it sits on the top of the surface.
- End gateway return: a vanilla End gateway return is generated in the biome.
Liquid Null is a fluid that can be converted into a source block, as described on the Null and End Blocks page.
Mobs and structures
The biome's water spawn list contains the Amber Rockfish, Enderfin, Pale Clubfish, Chorus Cod, Ender Glider, Endergazer, Violet Carp, Flying Dutchman's Sock, Elytrout, Red 40, Mantyvern and Snatcher Squid. The biome has no other spawn entries. In Fear Nightfall, the Born in Chaos spawn modifiers are limited to the Overworld, so Born in Chaos mobs do not spawn here.
End Corruption has 47 structures that can generate in it. The list includes the AdoraBuild End Structures (ancient palaces, end houses, end temples and end bubbles), the End Castle, Lighthouse and Ship, the Moog's End Structures, the End Mega Ships and the vanilla End City. Structures that mention End Corruption in their biome list are shown in the table below.

Tips
- Null Block breaks instantly, while Null End Stone and Unmapped End Stone need a pickaxe. Bring a pickaxe when exploring the biome.
- Anomaly blocks render only partly, and three of their four types are invisible. Check the ground before building or walking near the Anomaly features.
- The sky is black and the biome has no precipitation, so there is no weather cue for changes in the terrain. Monolith features are useful landmarks.
- Because the biome is cold for Tough As Nails, a player without warm clothing is exposed to its temperature effects.
