Magnolia Wood is a wood set added by Regions Unexplored. The plain Magnolia set includes logs, stripped logs and wood, planks, stairs, slabs, fences, a fence gate, a door, a trapdoor, a pressure plate, a button, signs, a hanging sign, a boat and a boat with a chest, along with saplings, shrubs, leaves, flowers and branches. Three colour variants, named blue, pink and white, add their own flowers, leaves, shrubs and saplings. They do not add wood blocks.
The Fear Nightfall changes log lists no changes to this wood set, and it is not tied to the pack's horror biomes or structures.
Obtaining
Magnolia trees grow naturally in the Magnolia Woodland biome, which replaces vanilla Cherry Grove in the default configuration with a weight of 50. Magnolia saplings are spread across that biome's ground. Magnolia shrubs are part of the biome's shrub group, which places them with a 25% chance. In that group, the plain Magnolia shrub has weight 1, and the white and pink shrubs have weight 2 each. The blue shrub appears in the Willow Forest shrub group at weight 1, against weight 3 for Willow shrubs.
The blue, pink and white flower patches are placed by special features. Each of these features is chosen from a weighted pool, with 64 placement attempts per chunk. See the Magnolia Woodland page for the biomes that include them.
Players can also get the wood by breaking trees, and craft the rest from it:
- Magnolia logs are stripped with an axe. They are also crafted into planks, branches and magnolia wood, and four logs make three wood blocks.
- Two saplings make one shrub, and a shrub gives back two saplings.
- Three leaves craft six flowers of the matching colour.
- A boat takes five planks. A boat with a chest is made by adding a chest to a boat.

Usage
The log and wood blocks have a hardness of 2 and a blast resistance of 2. Planks and the derived blocks have a blast resistance of 3. Stripped logs and stripped wood have a blast resistance of 3. All of these are axe-harvested. Fuel values are listed in the members table below.
Hanging signs are crafted from two chains and six stripped magnolia logs, and give six signs per craft.

Flowers
The blue, pink and white flowers are multiface growth blocks. They attach to stone, stone grass blocks, jungle logs and palm logs. They can grow on walls and ceilings but not on floors. Each flower spreads to nearby blocks with a 50% chance, searching up to 20 blocks away.
Each flower colour dyes a different colour:
- Blue flowers make light blue dye.
- Pink flowers make pink dye.
- White flowers make white dye.
All three flower types are compostable at 25%, flammable, and accepted as animal food. They are also accepted by flower boxes and by the herb tags of the Hexerei mod.
Leaves
The magnolia leaves use tinted particles. The blue, pink and white leaves use untinted particles. All four leaf types are hoe-harvested. Their item tags make them food for stick bugs, leaf insects and snails from the Critters and Companions mod, so those animals can be attracted with them.
Shrubs and saplings
Shrubs and saplings are listed under the Branches and Shrubs tag group. Shrubs break instantly, with a hardness of 0, and are compostable at 65%. Saplings grow into magnolia trees. Each sapling is fuel for furnaces at 0.5 items.
Branches
Each magnolia branch is crafted from one magnolia log and one stick, which gives two branches.
