Snowbelles are a family of 16 small flowers added by Regions Unexplored, one for each dye colour. The white Snowbelle is the only variant that generates in the world, in Cold Boreal Taiga and Cold Deciduous Forest. The other 15 colours are made by crafting. Snowbelles are a dye source, a decoration, and a food and bait item for animal and fishing mods.
Obtaining
Snowbelles are found growing in the wild, and each colour can also be crafted.
Natural generation
The white Snowbelle is placed by the single/snowbelle placed feature, which tries to place two flowers in every chunk of the biomes that include it. The two biomes are:
- Cold Boreal Taiga
- Cold Deciduous Forest
The flowers are placed at a random position in the chunk, on a surface where the heightmap is motion-blocking. The placement has no rarity filter.
In Fear Nightfall, biome selection uses a custom biome source that gives Regions Unexplored about 28% of land, so these two biomes are common in the pack's world.
Crafting
Each Snowbelle is crafted (shapeless) from a dye of its colour and any Snowbelle, so the white Snowbelle takes white dye and any Snowbelle. The recipe table below lists each colour's recipe and its alternatives.
Usage
Snowbelles are plants with no special mechanics. They can be broken with any tool or with no tool, and they have 0 hardness and 0 blast resistance. They are flammable and can be stacked to 64 in a single slot. Breaking a Snowbelle drops itself, and that drop survives explosions. A potted variant exists for each colour and drops a flower pot together with the flower.
Dye source
Each Snowbelle can be crafted without other ingredients into one dye of its matching colour. The white Snowbelle yields white dye, the red Snowbelle yields red dye, and so on for all 16 colours.
Crafting ingredient
Snowbelles are used to make the coloured variants of themselves. Combining a dye with any Snowbelle produces a Snowbelle of that dye's colour, as shown in the crafting table above.

Other uses
Snowbelles are included in several item tags from other mods, so they work with those mods' features:
c:animal_foods, which lets animals use them as food.minecraft:small_flowersandminecraft:flowers, the vanilla flower tags.supplementaries:flower_box_plantable, so they can be planted in Supplementaries' flower boxes.hexerei:herbs, which counts them as herbs for Hexerei.tide:bait_plants, which makes them usable as bait with Tide.aquaculture:turtle_edible, which makes them food for turtles in Aquaculture.
Snowbelles also have a 40% chance to add a level to a composter. They are flammable.
Items
All 16 Snowbelles share the same stats. Each colour differs only in name, texture and the dye it produces.
