The Eucalyptus Wood set is a family of 21 blocks and items added by Regions Unexplored. It covers the logs, planks, stairs, slabs, fences, doors, signs and boats made from eucalyptus trees, along with the leaves, saplings, shrubs and branches that the trees produce. The trees grow mainly in Eucalyptus Forest, a biome that replaces Wooded Badlands in the Overworld. The wood can be crafted from the start of the game, so it needs no progression.
Obtaining
Eucalyptus trees grow naturally in Eucalyptus Forest. This biome replaces Wooded Badlands with a default weight of 50, and the pack keeps that default. Its tree group places up to 24 tree attempts per chunk. Each attempt picks one of three features with equal weight: a full eucalyptus tree (minimum trunk height 14, plus up to 8 more), a small eucalyptus tree (minimum 13, plus up to 8 more), or an oak bush. Trees are placed only where there is no water above the ocean floor, and only where a sapling can survive. Shrubs are placed with a 1-in-4 chance per attempt in the same biome.
Most of the set is crafted from eucalyptus logs. Four logs give three eucalyptus wood, and a single log is one of the ingredients for the planks recipe, which yields four planks. Saplings, shrubs and branches are also crafted, as described below.

Usage
The wood set follows the normal wood rules, and the stripped variants are the ingredients for hanging signs. A few mechanics are specific to this set:
- Saplings and shrubs. A shrub is made from two saplings, and a shrub can be crafted back into two saplings. Saplings grow into eucalyptus trees, while shrubs are decorative plants that generate in Eucalyptus Forest.
- Leaves. Eucalyptus leaves have a hardness of 0.2 and are broken with a hoe. They are listed as food for the stick bug and leaf insect and as tempting items for the snail, all from Critters and Companions. They also carry the herbs tag used by Hexerei. The client config controls their colour, with a transition size of 25, a saturation of 0.5 and a brightness of 0.8.
- Branches. An eucalyptus branch is crafted from one log and one stick, and yields two branches. Branches are placed in four facing directions.
- Hardness and tools. Logs and wood have a hardness of 2 and a blast resistance of 2, and stripped logs and wood have a blast resistance of 3. Logs, wood and planks are broken with an axe. Leaves are broken with a hoe. Doors and trapdoors have a hardness of 3, and the other wooden blocks have a hardness of 2 or less.
- Fuel and compost. Logs and planks burn for 1.5 items, and slabs burn for 0.75 items. Compost chances are 30% for leaves, branches and saplings, and 65% for shrubs.
