Crockery is a set of decorative tableware blocks added by Handcrafted. Each of the five materials (wood, terracotta, white, yellow and blue) has a cup, a plate, a bowl and a crockery combo, for 20 blocks in total. The cups, plates and bowls are purely decorative. The crockery combo is the only piece that stores an item, so it works as a stand that displays one object on a table or counter.

Obtaining

Crockery does not generate in the world, and the mod does not add it to mob drops or chest loot. Every piece is crafted. The wood variants use wood slabs and planks, while the terracotta variants are made from Terracotta. The white, yellow and blue variants are made by adding a dye to a terracotta piece. The ingredients and yields are shown in the recipe grids below.

Usage

Cups, plates and bowls

Cups, plates and bowls are single blocks with a low, flat model. They are mined with a pickaxe, and the terracotta variants need a pickaxe to drop. The stats for each block are in the item table below.

Placing a piece onto an existing piece of the same type stacks it, up to six pieces. Each added piece makes the stack taller, so a full stack is six sixteenths of a block high. Stacking does not happen while the player is sneaking, and a sneak-click places the piece as a separate block. Breaking a stack drops one item for each piece in it, so a six-piece stack drops six items. Pieces placed in water become waterlogged.

Crockery combos

A crockery combo is a block 16 sixteenths wide and 3 sixteenths tall that holds one item. Right-clicking an empty combo with any item places one copy of that item on it. A combo only accepts an item when it is empty. Right-clicking the combo with an empty hand removes the stored item and drops it on the ground. The stored item is saved with the world, so it is still there after a reload.

Breaking a combo drops the combo and the stored item. An explosion also drops the stored item, while the combo block itself drops only if it survives the blast. The wood and terracotta combos are crafted from a cup and a plate of the same material. The white, yellow and blue combos are made by adding a dye to the terracotta combo.
