Cushions and Sheets are dyeable decorative materials added by Handcrafted. The mod adds 16 cushion blocks and 16 sheet items, one per dye colour. Cushions are sittable blocks, and both cushions and sheets are used to recolour the mod's benches, chairs, tables and Fancy Beds.
Cushions and sheets are the basic colouring layer of the Handcrafted furniture set. Nothing in the pack changes them, and they are not tied to any horror biome or structure.
Obtaining
Cushions and sheets do not generate in the world. They are not placed in structure chests, do not drop from mobs, and are not sold by villagers or wandering traders. All of them are crafted from wool, feathers, and dyes.

Each colour has two cushion recipes:
- Six wool of one colour, with feathers in the middle row and wool on the top and bottom rows, make 16 cushions. The grid is wool, feathers, wool in three rows.
- One cushion of any colour and one dye make one cushion of the dye's colour. This recolours an existing cushion, so the crafted colour is the dye's colour and the old colour is lost.
Each colour has two sheet recipes:
- Three wool of one colour make 8 sheets.
- One sheet of any colour and one dye make one sheet of the dye's colour.
Usage
Cushion blocks
A cushion is placed as a block with a hardness of 0.8 and a blast resistance of 0.8. It can be broken with any tool, and it drops itself when broken.
Right-clicking a cushion block seats the player on it. The seat is an invisible entity that is removed when the block is broken, is no longer sittable, or the last rider leaves. Cushion seats allow free rotation of the rider's view, since they have no facing.
Applying cushions and sheets to furniture
Right-clicking a piece of coloured furniture with a cushion or sheet adds that item to the piece, or recolours it if it already has one.

Placing a new cushion or sheet on a coloured piece returns the old item, which drops unless the player is in creative mode. Shift-right-clicking a coloured piece removes its layer and drops the item.
Breaking a coloured fancy bed drops its sheet from the foot or its cushion from the head.
Cushions and sheets are consumed by right-click interactions on Handcrafted blocks. Other mods that use the same items for right-click actions may conflict with these interactions.
The hammer is a separate tool used to change block shapes and looks. It does not apply colour.
Items
Each cushion block and sheet item uses one of the 16 dye colours: white, orange, magenta, light blue, yellow, lime, pink, gray, light gray, cyan, purple, blue, brown, green, red and black. A sheet has the same colour as the cushion with the same name.
Sheets have no block form and exist only as items.
