Desks, Drawers and Nightstands are wooden furniture blocks added by two mods, and several of them hold items. Handcrafted adds 33 of them: a desk, a nightstand and a drawer in each of 11 wood types (Acacia, Bamboo, Birch, Cherry, Crimson, Dark Oak, Jungle, Mangrove, Oak, Spruce and Warped). Refurbished Furniture adds 20: a desk and a drawer in each of 10 wood types, with no Bamboo and no nightstand. Most wood types therefore have two desks and two drawers, one from each mod. Behaviour differs between the two sets, and this page covers each mod separately.
The Handcrafted desks, nightstands and drawers hold a 27-slot inventory, which makes them the largest storage in this group. The Refurbished drawers hold 9 slots, and the Refurbished desks hold nothing and work only as surfaces. All 53 blocks are mined with an axe.
Obtaining
None of these blocks generate naturally, appear in chest loot or come from mob drops. Neither mod adds them to global loot tables or villager trades, so crafting is the only source.
Crafting
Handcrafted recipes use the normal crafting grid and need a chest in the grid. The chest slot accepts a vanilla chest or any item in the #handcrafted:chests tag, which includes the #c:chests tag. Each Handcrafted craft yields 2 blocks. Refurbished recipes are constructed at a powered Workbench, which needs an electrical supply. Each Refurbished craft yields 1 block. The ingredients for each block are listed in the table below.

Handcrafted desks and nightstands
Handcrafted desks and nightstands use the same block class and behave the same way. Right-clicking one opens its 27-slot, three-row chest inventory. The contents drop when the block is broken. The block gives an analog redstone signal to a comparator equal to how full its inventory is. It does not conduct redstone power, unlike planks.
Each block can be coloured with a sheet from the Handcrafted sheet set, which has 16 colours. Right-clicking with a sheet dyes an uncoloured block. Right-clicking with a different sheet replaces the colour and returns the old sheet to the player, unless the player is in creative mode. Sneaking while right-clicking with any item removes the colour and drops the sheet. See Cushions and Sheets. Desks and nightstands are not affected by the Hammer.
Handcrafted drawers
Handcrafted drawers use the same 27-slot inventory as the desks and nightstands. Right-clicking any face opens it. The Hammer cycles a look property with four variants, and the block plays the wood hammer sound. Its shape property (single, left, middle or right) updates from neighbouring blocks, as on dining benches. Like the desks and nightstands, drawers emit a comparator signal and do not conduct redstone. Refurbished Furniture desks
Refurbished desks have no inventory. Each desk checks its left and right neighbours. When a neighbouring desk faces the same direction, the desk removes its legs on that side, so a row of desks forms one continuous top. Refurbished desks are otherwise plain surfaces. Refurbished Furniture drawers
Refurbished drawers hold a single row of 9 slots. They open only when the player right-clicks the front face, which is the face opposite the drawer's facing direction. Right-clicking any other face does nothing. When the drawer opens, its front slides out and plays the drawer open sound. The drawer closes with the close sound. Its contents drop when the block is broken. The source does not set a comparator signal for this block.
Items
Bamboo desks, nightstands and drawers come only from Handcrafted, and Refurbished Furniture has no nightstand. The table below lists every block on this page.
