Iron's Spellbooks Weapons are the swords, greatswords, spear, crossbow and wand added by Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks. Most are melee swords with high durability and damage for their tier. Several carry a preset spell that is cast with right-click, so they work as melee weapons and as spell implements. The top-tier swords are made from mod materials such as Mithril, Pyrium Ingot and Timeless Slurry, or upgraded from a lower-tier sword at a smithing table.
Obtaining
Players get these weapons in four ways: crafting, smithing upgrades, mob drops and chest loot. The wandering trader also sells one of them as a rare trade.

|---|---|---|---|
Decrepit Scythe | Echo of Tyros, First Flamebearer | killed_by_player, random_chance_with_enchanted_bonus | |
Icy Fang | Ice Spider | 40% chance, killed_by_player |
The Decrepit Scythe drops from the Echo of Tyros only when a player kills it. The drop chance is raised by enchantments on the killing weapon. The Decrepit Flamberge is placed in the rampart chest of the Citadel at about 27% per chest. The Autoloader Crossbow is placed in the ominous trial chamber vault and reward chests. The Icy Fang drops from the Ice Spider at 40% when a player kills it. Ice Spiders live in the Ice Spider Den structure and patrol snowy biomes during rain.
In this pack, Iron's Spells loot is also extended into the replacement temple, fortress and stronghold chests from the YUNG structure mods, so these weapons can turn up in those structures.

Usage
Holding right-click on a magic weapon starts its preset spell instead of the normal item use. Casting spends mana, and taking damage interrupts the cast. See Spellcasting for the mana, cast and interruption rules.
Magic swords
The Spellbreaker, Amethyst Rapier, Misery, Hellrazor and Boreal Blade each have one preset spell at a fixed level:
- The Spellbreaker casts Counterspell at level 1. It also gives +15% cooldown reduction.
- The Amethyst Rapier casts Echoing Strikes at level 5.
- Misery casts Wither Skull at level 8.
- The Hellrazor casts Raise Hell at level 3.
- The Boreal Blade casts Frostbite at level 3. It is the slowest of the swords, with an attack speed of 0.9.
The Magehunter gives +15% spell resist. The Claymore, Decrepit Flamberge, Legionnaire Flamberge and Decrepit Scythe are plain swords with no preset spell.
Twilight Gale
The Twilight Gale is a spear that is thrown rather than swung. Hold right-click to draw it and release to throw. A throw needs at least 8 ticks (0.4 seconds) of draw. The thrown spear deals 13 damage, or the player's full attack damage if the Twilight Gale is the held weapon. Each throw costs one durability and starts a 10-second cooldown. The Twilight Gale cannot be thrown when it has only one durability left. It supports the Loyalty and Channeling enchantments in addition to the normal sword set. Its preset spell is Volt Strike at level 5.
Autoloader Crossbow
The Autoloader Crossbow loads itself while it is in the player's inventory, so it fires the next available projectile without a manual reload. Crouch-clicking the crossbow cancels the loading. It has 465 durability.
Hither-Thither Wand
The Hither-Thither Wand is a unique item and holds one spell, Portal, at level 1. It is an Epic rarity item.
