Stained Redstone Lamps are a set of 16 dyed lighting blocks added by Jaden's Nether Expansion. There is one lamp for each dye colour, from White to Black. Each lamp is an ordinary redstone lamp in another colour: it is powered and lit the same way, and it emits the same light, but it has its own block, recipe and map colour. They are decorative building blocks and have no other function.
Obtaining
No natural generation, chest loot or mob drop is recorded for these blocks. Crafting is the way to obtain them.
Crafting
Each colour is made with a shaped crafting recipe. Eight redstone lamps surround one dye of the matching colour in a 3×3 grid, and the recipe yields 8 stained lamps. The dye sits in the centre slot and the redstone lamps fill the other eight slots. A single craft therefore uses eight vanilla redstone lamps and one dye, and returns eight stained lamps.

8Usage
Stained Redstone Lamps use the same block class as the vanilla redstone lamp, so they respond to redstone in the same way. A powered lamp switches to its lit state, and an unpowered lamp stays unlit.
- Lit: the block emits light at level 15, the maximum light level.
- Unlit: the block emits no light (level 0).
Breaking a lamp takes very little time. The block has a hardness of 0.3 and a blast resistance of 0.3, and it is mined with a pickaxe. Its break and place sound is the glass sound. Because the blast resistance is so low, lamps are easily destroyed by explosions. Each lamp drops itself when broken. Its loot table carries the survives-explosion condition, so a lamp destroyed by an explosion drops only with a chance that depends on the explosion.
Stained lamps stack to 64 in a single inventory slot, like the vanilla redstone lamp.
