The Lamps (Refurbished Furniture) are a set of 16 electric lamps added by MrCrayfish's Furniture Mod: Refurbished, one for each dye colour: white, orange, magenta, light blue, yellow, lime, pink, gray, light gray, cyan, purple, blue, brown, green, red and black. They are light sources that only work while they are connected to an Electricity network, and they are part of the mod's lamps, bedroom and electronics item tags.
All 16 lamps have the same stats and behaviour. Each is a block with 1.5 hardness and 1.5 blast resistance, is mined fastest with an axe, and stacks to 64. Lamps are not generated in the world, so they are only obtained by crafting.
Obtaining
Lamps do not generate naturally, and they do not appear in chest loot, mob drops or villager and wandering trader trades. The mod adds no worldgen and no loot or trade changes, and the pack's changes list has no entries for this mod, so Fear Nightfall does not add lamps to any structure or chest either. Lamps are made at a Workbench (Refurbished Furniture), which needs power, or by recolouring a lamp in a normal crafting grid.

Workbench · WorkbenchThe workbench recipe for every colour uses the same base materials, which are wood planks, redstone dust, glowstone dust and white wool, plus the dye that matches the colour. See the table above for the exact amounts and alternatives. The workbench must be powered, so a generator is needed before lamps can be made in bulk.
The second recipe for each colour is a shapeless recolour: one dye and one existing lamp, of any colour, make a lamp of the dye's colour. This lets a player change a lamp's colour without spending the base materials again.
Usage
Lamps are electricity module nodes. A lamp has no switch and no fuel slot, and it does nothing until it is linked to an electricity generator with a Wrench.
Power and light
- An unpowered lamp is off. Its
poweredblock state isfalse, and it emits no light. - A powered lamp is on. Its
poweredblock state istrue, and it emits light level 15, the same as a glowstone block. - A lamp draws power from the generator's network as a whole. The generator burns furnace-style fuel, and that fuel's burn time sets how much power the network receives. A lamp that loses its link stops working.
Control
Lamps cannot be switched on their own. They are controlled by the network they belong to:
- A Lightswitch on the same network toggles power to the devices on that network, including lamps.
- The Smart Home app on a computer toggles all or individual powered devices on the same network.
Devices must share a network to be controlled together. Link limits and network size are covered on the Electricity page.
Colour
Colour has no effect on light or behaviour. Lamps of different colours are only used to match a building's decor.
Tips
- Link each lamp to the generator's network with the Wrench, then check the lamp's state before placing many of them.
- Place a Lightswitch on the network to turn a whole room of lamps off at once.
- Keep a spare lamp of a common colour in the crafting grid to recolour the others later without gathering new base materials.
Items
All lamps share the same stats, so the table below is the same for every colour apart from the colour name. For the other lighting blocks in the mod, see Ceiling Lights and Fans.
