Ceiling Lights and Fans are electrically powered light and fan fixtures added by Refurbished Furniture. The set has 20 ceiling fans, in ten wood types with a light and a dark finish, and two ceiling lights, one light and one dark. Each piece attaches to a ceiling, wall or floor face, and each is a device on the mod's electricity network. A fan or light does nothing while unpowered.
A powered ceiling fan is also a hazard. Its blades damage every living entity in the area beneath them, players and mobs alike, so a fan is a poor choice wherever people or monsters walk under it.
Obtaining
None of these blocks generate in the world. The mod adds no structure chest loot, mob drops or villager trades for them, so every piece is crafted at a workbench or in the crafting grid.

The Light Ceiling Light is made the same way from iron, redstone and glowstone, without planks. See the recipe grids above for the exact counts.
Each dark fan and the Dark Ceiling Light is a two-ingredient recipe: the matching light piece plus one black dye. It can be crafted at a workbench or in the crafting grid, and the result is always the dark finish of the same type.
Usage
Ceiling fans
A ceiling fan is placed against the face of the block that the player clicks, so it can hang from a ceiling, mount on a wall or stand on a floor. Its blades spin up while the fan is powered and slow down once power is removed. Blade speed is cosmetic: a client config option sets the top speed, with a default of 50. The spin sound plays while the blades are moving fast.
Right-clicking a fan with an empty hand toggles its lit state. A fan emits light level 15 only when it is both powered and lit. Unpowered or unlit, it emits no light.
Damage does not depend on the lit state. While a fan is powered, every server tick it hits each living entity inside the blade area for 0.5 damage, using a dedicated ceiling fan damage type. Each hit adds 0.1 exhaustion, and the death message reads "sliced to death by a ceiling fan". Vanilla invulnerability frames limit how often damage actually lands, so the real rate is lower than one hit per tick. Removing power from the fan removes the damage.
Ceiling lights
A Light Ceiling Light or a Dark Ceiling Light can be placed on a floor, wall or ceiling face. It emits light level 15 while powered and no light while unpowered. The light has no switch of its own. The network controls it, so a Lightswitch on the same network turns it on and off along with the other devices on that network. The two ceiling lights behave the same way and differ only in finish.
Power
Each fan and light is a module on the electricity network. A device has to be linked with a Wrench to an Electricity Generator, which burns furnace-style fuel to supply power. See Electricity for link limits and network rules. Powered devices on the same network are switched together.
Items
Each wood type has its own light fan and dark fan. The light fans use the light metal finish, and the dark fans use the dark finish, which is made by adding black dye.
