Hexerei Miscellaneous

Hexerei Miscellaneous
Mod	Hexerei
Items	15

Hexerei Miscellaneous covers the smaller items added by Hexerei that do not belong to its wood, brewing, broom or companion groups. The set includes two broom brushes made from moon dust, the Warhammer, Reading Glasses worn in the head slot, cleaning cloth, gold rings for brooms, a seed food for crows, a courier packing peanut, animal fat, flowering lily pads, and the bottles and buckets of quicksilver, lava and milk. Most of these items are made in the Mixing Cauldron or come from the mod's courier and coven chests.

Obtaining

Most items on this page are made in the Mixing Cauldron or the Pestle and Mortar. Several Mixing Cauldron recipes require heating. Chest loot comes from the Owl Post Office courier chests and from the Dark Coven and Nature Coven chests. Animal fat also drops from cows, pigs and sheep. Flowering lily pads generate in swamp biomes.

Usage

Each item on this page has a separate use. The notes below cover the mechanics that the generated tables do not show.

Broom brushes

The Moon Dust Brush is a broom brush with 200 durability. While it is equipped on a broom, it adds 1.0 to the broom's speed multiplier when the time of day is between 0.25 and 0.75 and the moon is full. At any other time it adds 0.25. The brush is made by drying a Wet Moon Dust Brush in a Herb Drying Rack for 1200 ticks (60 seconds). The Wet Moon Dust Brush is made in the Mixing Cauldron from an Enhanced Broom Brush or a Wet Enhanced Broom Brush, two Moon Dust, two Mandrake Roots, a Mandrake Flower and 1000 mB of water. See Brooms for the speed rules.

Moon Dust

Moon Dust is made in the Mixing Cauldron from four Redstone Dust, four Glowstone Dust and 250 mB of water. The recipe yields four Moon Dust. Moon Dust is an ingredient in the Wet Moon Dust Brush and in the Entangled Coffer recipe.

Warhammer

The Warhammer is a melee weapon with 2031 durability, the same as a netherite tool. Its attack damage is 4 and its attack speed is 1.6, which are the values the game displays. The weapon has no special ability. Its only recipe is in the Mixing Cauldron, with a heated mix of a netherite ingot, two diamonds, two iron ingots, three mahogany planks and 1500 mB of lava.

Reading Glasses

The Reading Glasses are worn in the Curios head slot. They can also be held and used like a spyglass, which zooms the view slightly. The Glasses Zoom key toggles the zoom while the glasses are worn. The item can be used for up to 1200 ticks (60 seconds) at a time. The recipe is a heated Mixing Cauldron mix of iron ingots, glass panes, a spyglass and 250 mB of lava.

Cloth

Cloth is a cleaning item made from Infused Fabric in a crafting grid. Right-clicking a waxed block that the mod supports with cloth removes the wax and returns the block to its unwaxed state. Cloth does not lose durability. Cloth is used in the Waxing Kit recipe.

Gold Rings

Gold Rings are made in the heated Mixing Cauldron from four gold ingots, four gold nuggets and 250 mB of lava. They belong to the hexerei:broom_misc item tag, which means a ring can be placed in a broom's misc slot. The broom renders the ring while it is equipped. Gold rings also appear in the Owl Post Office courier package chests, with a 15.3% chance per chest.

Seed Mixture

The Seed Mixture is a food item for crows. It is ground from one wheat seed, one pumpkin seed, one melon seed, one beetroot seed and one Sage seed in the Pestle and Mortar, which takes 100 ticks (5 seconds). Its tooltip recommends feeding it to crows. It restores 2 hunger and 4 saturation when eaten. Seed mixture also appears in the Nature Coven crow chest.

Packing Peanut

The Packing Peanut is a food item with no recipe. It restores 1 hunger and 2 saturation. It appears in every Owl Post Office courier package chest, with an average of 2.5 per chest.

Animal Fat

Animal Fat is a crafting material with no recipe. The pack's global loot modifier adds it to the drops of cows, pigs and sheep with a 45% chance, in addition to their normal drops. It also appears in the Dark Coven Basic chest with a 35% chance per chest and an average of 3.4 per chest.

Flowering Lily Pad

The Flowering Lily Pad is a block placed on water. It has 0 hardness, 0 blast resistance and a compost value of 100%. It generates in swamp biomes, with four placement attempts per chunk. The lily pad also generates in the Willow Swamp.

Bottles and buckets

• Bottle of Quicksilver restores 1 hunger and 2 saturation. It gives Hunger I for 30 seconds and Poison I for 15 seconds, each with an 80% chance.
• Quicksilver Bucket holds the quicksilver fluid, which the Mixing Cauldron accepts. Quicksilver is in the game's lava fluid tag, so it counts as lava for fire and damage checks.
• Bottle of Lava has 100 durability and gives no food value. Drinking it sets the player on fire for an extra 10 ticks. While it is in an inventory it loses one durability point on average every two ticks, so an unused bottle lasts about 10 seconds. Filling a glass bottle with lava in the Mixing Cauldron makes a Bottle of Lava, and the reverse recipe returns the glass bottle.
• Bottle of Milk restores 1 hunger and 2 saturation. Drinking it removes the effects that milk cures in vanilla.

Items

• Cloth is the cleaning item for waxed blocks.
• Warhammer is the only melee weapon on this page.
• Reading Glasses are the only item here that is worn in a Curios slot.
• Seed Mixture is the food item for crows.
• Animal Fat is the most common drop on this page.
