Drinks are a group of four consumable items added by Farmer's Delight: the Milk Bottle, Hot Cocoa, Apple Cider and Melon Juice. Each is a drinkable item with a 1.6-second use animation and a stack size of 16. Milk Bottles and Hot Cocoa are the pack's ways to clear status effects, while Apple Cider and Melon Juice give short-term benefits. The drinks are also ingredients in several meals and desserts.

Obtaining

The four drinks are made at a crafting table or in a Cooking Pot. Milk Bottles are crafted from one Milk Bucket and four glass bottles, which yields four Milk Bottles. Melon Juice is crafted from four Melon Slices, one Sugar and one glass bottle. Hot Cocoa and Apple Cider must be cooked in a Cooking Pot placed on a lit heat source. Hot Cocoa uses one Milk Bucket, one Sugar and two Cocoa Beans. Apple Cider uses two Apples and one Sugar. Each cooking recipe grants 1 experience point and is listed in the drinks tab of the recipe book.

Usage

Drinks are consumed by holding right-click, which takes 32 ticks (1.6 seconds) and plays the drinking animation. A drink with no food component can be drunk at any hunger level. Apple Cider has a food component, so it follows the normal eating rule and cannot be started while the player's hunger bar is full.

Milk Bottle

The Milk Bottle removes one randomly chosen active status effect that can be cured by milk. If no active effect is curable by milk, drinking the bottle has no effect other than using up the item. It does not restore hunger or health.

Hot Cocoa

Hot Cocoa removes one randomly chosen active harmful effect that can be cured by milk. Beneficial effects are not affected. Like the Milk Bottle, it restores no hunger or health.

Apple Cider

Apple Cider restores no hunger and no saturation. Drinking it grants Absorption I for 1 minute. Absorption adds yellow health above the player's normal health bar.

Melon Juice

Melon Juice heals the player instantly for 2 health points (one heart). It has no food component and is not affected by hunger.
