Cabinets are 27-slot storage blocks added by Farmer's Delight. There are eleven variants, one for each wood type: oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, cherry, bamboo, crimson and warped. They work like a chest that opens with a hinged door, and most variants burn as furnace fuel.
Obtaining
Cabinets are crafted only. Each recipe uses six slabs and two trapdoors of the matching wood type. See the table below for the exact recipes.

Usage
Right-clicking a cabinet opens its inventory, a three-row chest menu with 27 slots. Breaking a cabinet drops its contents on the ground.
The block's open state changes while players view the inventory. The door opens when the first player starts viewing it and closes when the last player stops, with an opening and closing sound. The block also checks its viewers every tick, so the door closes even if a player leaves without closing the menu. A placed cabinet faces toward the player who placed it.
Cabinets have these properties:
- Hardness: 2.5, and blast resistance 2.5.
- Harvest tool: axe.
- Redstone: a cabinet emits an analog comparator signal based on how full its inventory is.
- Item access: hoppers, pipes and other item-handling blocks can insert into and extract from the cabinet's slots through the item handler capability.
- Piglins: opening a cabinet angers piglins nearby, the same as opening a chest in the Nether.
- Fuel: the oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, cherry and bamboo variants burn for 1.5 items in a furnace. The crimson and warped variants are not fuel.
Fear Nightfall changes
The Lootr mod makes most containers open a separate copy of their inventory for each player. Cabinets are an exception in this pack. Lootr cannot make them per-player, so every player who opens a cabinet sees the same shared, first-come first-served contents. Players should not rely on a cabinet as a private stash in a multiplayer world.
Cabinets are also tagged as light blocks for the Sable mod, which affects how they behave when that mod is installed.
