Lumisene is a glowing, flammable fluid added by Supplementaries. It is available as a fluid block, as a bucket item (the Lumisene Bucket) and as a drink (the Lumisene Bottle). Lumisene can be placed in the world, lit with an igniter to produce a burning, light-emitting liquid, and drunk for the Flammable and Glowing status effects. Lumisene Bottles are also an ingredient in the Fire Pit recipe.
Obtaining
Both Lumisene items are made by crafting:
- The Lumisene Bucket is crafted from 8 Glow Berries and a Bucket.
- The Lumisene Bottle is crafted from 2 Glow Berries and a Glass Bottle.
The Lumisene Bucket can also be used to place the fluid on water. Lumisene lighting is controlled by the LUMISENE_ENABLED config option, and the bottle's effects are controlled by a separate bottle option, so both can be disabled in the mod's configuration.

Usage
Lumisene has three forms, and each has its own behaviour.
Fluid
Lumisene is a finite fluid with 16 levels of height, so a placed source spreads across the ground like water and can be stacked into deeper pools. It is drawn as a glowing liquid and emits sparkle particles from the surface while it is unlit.
Lumisene is ignited by an igniter item. Flint and steel and fire charges are the igniters that light it when used on the fluid. A lit Lumisene block has a light level of 15, and burning spreads through connected Lumisene blocks. A block of Lumisene with another fluid block directly above it does not catch fire. Fire spreads across lit Lumisene from block to block, so a single lit pool can burn a whole connected surface.
An entity that stands in lit Lumisene is set on fire. Each tick it is inside the fluid, its remaining fire ticks increase, and entities that are immune to fire are unaffected. Players and mobs that walk through a burning pool take fire damage in the same way as standing in fire. In the Supplementaries configuration, standing in unlit Lumisene applies the Flammable effect for 50 ticks (flammable_from_lumisene_block_duration).
Lumisene is a fire hazard. Burning Lumisene can ignite nearby flammable blocks, so pools should not be placed near wooden structures, hay, or other flammable content.
Lumisene Bottle
Drinking a Lumisene Bottle takes 32 ticks (1.6 seconds) and uses the drinking animation. The bottle gives two effects:
- Flammable for 300 ticks (15 seconds), which increases the duration of being on fire and causes fire to spread as the player walks.
- Glowing for 200 ticks (10 seconds).
The bottle also removes Poison from the drinker. It leaves a Glass Bottle behind when the bottle is used up. It has no food value and no saturation.
Lumisene Bucket
The Lumisene Bucket holds a Lumisene source and is used to place Lumisene. It is tagged as a bucket (c:buckets) and is compatible with Create's upright-on-belt handling. The bucket is not stackable.
Enchantments
Supplementaries adds the Lumisene Fire Aspect and Lumisene Flame enchantments. See Enchantments for the full list.
