Aquaculture Delight Dishes

Aquaculture Delight Dishes
Mod	Aquaculture Delight
Items	29

The Aquaculture Delight Dishes are a set of 21 foods added by the Aquaculture Delight mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge. They include two forms of turtle meat, Small Turtle Meat and Cooked Turtle Meat Slice. Most dishes are cooked in a Cooking Pot with a bowl as the container, and the rest are crafted on a crafting table. They build on Farmer's Delight's cooking and cutting-board systems and mostly use fish from the Aquaculture mod as their main ingredient. The highest-value dishes restore 13 to 14 hunger points and most grant a status effect for several minutes. The mod also adds one sword-type knife and a multi-stage block, the Crispy Roll Medley, which is unpacked one item at a time.

Crafting

Most dishes are made in a Cooking Pot with a bowl as the container. Each cooking-pot recipe takes 200 ticks (10 seconds) and gives 1.0 experience. Shapeless crafting recipes make the rest, including the rice-based rolls and Fish and Chips. The full list of recipes is below.

Cutting board

Farmer's Delight cutting-board recipes turn raw fish from Aquaculture and other mods into raw fish fillets, which are then used in the fillet rolls and other dishes. Each fillet recipe takes one raw fish from a fillet tag and returns that number of fillets, plus fish bones with a 10% chance. The yield ranges from one fillet for small fish such as perch and minnow to fourteen fillets for Atlantic halibut. Five higher-yield variants require the Neptunium knives from the Aquaculture mod (see Fillet Knives and Fish Fillets).

Sea turtles

Killing an adult sea turtle with a knife in the main hand can drop turtle meat. Two independent rolls of 50% each are made per kill:

• Raw Turtle Meat Slice if the turtle is not on fire and the knife does not have Fire Aspect.
• Cooked Turtle Meat Slice if the turtle was on fire or the knife has any level of Fire Aspect.

Any item in the c:tools/knife or farmersdelight:tools/knives tags counts as a knife for this purpose, including knives from other mods. Baby sea turtles do not drop the meat.

Cooked turtle meat can also be obtained by smelting, smoking or cooking the raw slice on a campfire. Smelting takes 200 ticks, smoking takes 100 ticks and a campfire takes 600 ticks. Each gives 0.35 experience.

Crispy Roll Medley

The Crispy Roll Medley is crafted from 3 sushi from the Aquaculture mod, 2 Fish Fillet Rolls, 2 Fried Perch Rolls and a bowl. It is placed with a horizontal facing and has 8 stages, numbered 0 to 7. The crafted block is stage 0, and each stage is a separate block that appears in the items table. The Usage section explains how to unpack it.

Usage

Foods in this group restore hunger and saturation, and most also apply a status effect. The hunger and saturation values for each item are shown in the items table below. The effects and their durations, which the tables do not show, are:

• Farmer's Delight Nourishment: Baked Pollock with Carrots for 300 seconds, Halibut with Tartar Sauce for 300 seconds, Buckling for 120 seconds, Tuna Spaghetti for 320 seconds, Large Fish with Vegetables for 360 seconds, Turtle Meat Dish for 180 seconds and Rollmops for 240 seconds.
• Farmer's Delight Comfort: Bass Stew for 180 seconds, Fish and Chips for 180 seconds, Halaszle for 180 seconds, Jellyfish Jelly for 120 seconds and Unusual Fish Soup for 180 seconds. The pack changed Fish Chorba, which previously gave a nonexistent effect, to grant Farmer's Delight Comfort for 300 seconds.
• Vanilla effects: Catfish Barbecue gives Strength for 600 ticks, Crispy Nori gives Regeneration for 60 ticks, Fish and Chips gives Slowness for 100 ticks, Halaszle gives Luck for 2400 ticks, Unlucky Fisher Chowder gives Weakness for 200 ticks, Rollmops gives Conduit Power for 2400 ticks and Unusual Fish Soup gives Dolphin's Grace for 2400 ticks.

Jellyfish Jelly has a 2% chance on each use to apply Poison for 110 ticks (5.5 seconds). Its tooltip says 3 seconds, which matches an unused code path rather than the active one.

Tooltip durations do not always match the effects the foods apply. Tuna Spaghetti and Turtle Meat Dish show 2 minutes in their tooltip but apply 320 and 180 seconds, and Large Fish with Vegetables shows 5 minutes but applies 6 minutes.

Crispy Roll Medley unpacking

Each right-click on a Crispy Roll Medley with a non-block item in hand, or with an empty hand, drops one item and advances the block to the next stage. Stages 0 to 2 drop one sushi each. Stages 3 and 5 drop a Fried Perch Roll, stages 4 and 6 drop a Fish Fillet Roll, and stage 7 drops a bowl and removes the block. Unpacking the full block returns exactly the items used in its recipe.

Breaking a stage 0 block drops the block itself. Stages 1 to 6 drop nothing, and stage 7 drops a bowl. Medley blocks are mined faster with an axe.

If the Aquaculture mod is not installed, the sushi slots are empty and the unpack step spawns an empty item.
