Transmog Table and Player Statue are two decorative blocks added by Iron's Lib, a library mod by Iron431. The Patreon Transmog Table applies cosmetic armor skins to worn armor, and the Patreon Statue displays a patron's player skin in a chosen pose. Both are patron rewards: their use depends on the player's Patreon tier as reported by the mod's roster service, not on anything earned in play. Neither block affects combat, armor values, durability or progression.

Obtaining

Neither block generates in the world, appears in chest loot, drops from mobs or is sold by villagers in this build. The Patreon Transmog Table is crafted. The Patreon Statue has no recipe and is obtained only through the /irons_lib command. Breaking either block drops the block itself.

Crafting

The Patreon Transmog Table is made by placing a gold ingot above a smithing table in a crafting grid. Its recipe yields one block.

Commands

The /irons_lib command requires operator level 2. Two of its subcommands concern the statue:

  • statue give_all gives the executing player one Patreon Statue for each patron at Wizard tier or higher.
  • statue set_player <pos> <username> sets the patron shown by the statue at the given position.

Usage

Patron access

The mod fetches the patron roster from an external server on server start and then every 300 seconds. The roster is cached in the world save and sent to all players, including each player's Minecraft username and UUID. A player with no patron tier cannot use gated skins or be shown on a statue. If the server has no network access and no cache, no player has a patron tier. Server operators should keep this roster exposure in mind when running a public server.

Patreon Transmog Table

Right-clicking the block opens the Transmog menu. The menu has an armor slot grid, a list of skins with their tier requirements and supported slots, a color picker for dyeable skins, and a Remove Transmog option. Applying a skin requires both a sufficient tier and an item in a slot the skin supports.

The mod ships ten skins:

Skin Tier required Supported slots Dyeable
Wizard Robes None All Yes
Wizard Hat None Helmet Yes
Red Rogue Acolyte All Yes
Silver Sorcerer Acolyte Chestplate Yes
Adventurer Acolyte All Yes
Witch-Hunter Acolyte All Yes
Traveler Acolyte All Yes
Ruby Warrior Acolyte All No
Onyx Shadow Acolyte All No
Sapphire Scholar Acolyte All No

The Wizard Robes and Wizard Hat are the only skins available to every player. The other eight require the Acolyte tier or higher.

A transmog is purely visual. The underlying armor keeps its stats, durability and enchantments. The skin is stored on the item and rendered on the client, which replaces the armor in the render pass and hides the vanilla armor pieces it covers. Dyeing a dyeable skin sets its color. Transmogged stacks show a small indicator sprite, and holding Shift over them expands the tooltip to show the applied skin.

The menu title is drawn from a translation key that has no entry in the language file, so the raw key block.irons_lib.inscription_table can appear in place of the title.

Patreon Statue

A Patreon Statue is a block entity that renders a patron's skin on a body model. The model can be wide, slim, legacy or one of the other built-in shapes. The skin is downloaded from the Mojang session service and cached on the client.

A statue's owner is set in one of two ways: by using a nametag bearing the username of a patron, or with the set_player command. Only patrons at Wizard tier or higher can be assigned to a statue. A statue with no owner shows the name "Unset" until one is assigned.

Crouch-clicking a statue opens the pose screen, where the pose is chosen from 23 options: Neutral, Attention, Squat, Reaching, Pointing Forward, Fallen, Statue, Mourn, Dramatic, Waving, Marionette, David, Sitting, Applause, Archery, Heart, Ballet, Zombie, Kneeling, Walking, Ready to Strike, Exploring and At Guard.

The mod also includes a structure processor that fills statue blocks in a structure template with a random patron at Wizard tier or higher and a random pose. The processor uses Math.random() rather than the world seed, so results differ between regenerations and servers. The mod itself ships no structure that uses it.
